A complex £252m debt portfolio transaction involving 49 assets across all property sectors and located throughout the UK

The Metis team acted on the purchase of the CMBS behind the substantial Glanmore Portfolio on behalf of a US-based Private Equity House, for a total consideration of £252m.

Complex underwriting

The Metis team were required to produce individual business plans for a total of 49 assets across all property sectors and located throughout the UK. These comprised the following, let to a total of 550 tenants:

Offices (33% of the portfolio)

Shopping centres (22%)

Industrial (23%)

Retail warehousing (12%);

High street Retail (6%)

Leisure (4%)

An on-going involvement

The Metis team continued to provide post purchase strategy advice and monitor asset performance throughout the debt recovery programme. This major transaction demonstrated the ability of the Metis team to provide best-in-class advice across the whole spectrum of property sectors within an aggressive timeframe.
